Flit Drone Services provides typical drone-related services (e.g. aerial photography, inspections) but specializes in the efficient removal of Browntail moth nests. Inspired by Maine native Eben Mann.we join him in the use of our commercial drone and the DeLeaves canopy sampling device to clip the nests full of dormant caterpillars from affected trees.
I am an FAA certified commercial drone pilot and Flit is fully insured.
Finally, as a scientist (now retired) I have always been motivated by new ideas and technologies. I am constantly looking for potential new UAV applications (especially for the DeLeaves vegetation sampler), so if you have an idea, give me a call! I have a career of experience working collaboratively and understand the process of research and technology development.
